It has been reported that those who take photos at the Union Cemetery have later found orbs, light rods, mists and apparitions in them. One of the ghosts that haunt the grounds is the White Lady who reportedly began appearing in the late 1940s. She has been videotaped and photographed by a number of people. Some that pass by the cemetery have seen her in the nearby road, and have even "hit" her in their cars.
In 1992, Ed and Lorraine Warren published a book called Graveyard: True Hauntings from an Old New England Cemetery. The first third of the book is made up of stories that involve this cemetery.
